Down Melody Lane
This years’ grandstand show is a musical revue produced entirely by The Vegreville Agricultural Society. This trip down memory lane features the music of the Doo Wop
And Motown eras and stars local music icon Thomas Alexander. Thomas has had a varied career from extensive musical theatre to opening for James Brown and The Temptations and as lead singer for the Platters.
Down Memory Lane has something for everyone with hit tunes such as Unchained Melody,
The Great Pretender, Sixteen Candles, Blue moon, Respect, Natural Woman, Stand By Me, Dancin In The Streets, River Deep Mountain High and What’s Goin On.
Thomas will be backed up by a seven piece orchestra and four background singers.
Down Memory Lane is a show that should not be missed by any music lover. Showtimes are 8:30 pm. Thursday, Friday and Saturday the 9th , 10th and 11th of August.

This Year’s bandshell lineup features the mix of local and regional talent host once again by every ones favorite MC, Bob Ashmead. Showtimes are 2:00 pm. to 6:00 pm. and 10:00 pm. to 11:00 pm., Thursday, Friday and Saturday the 9th, 10th and 11th of August.
